Since it was started in 2011, the One Foundation has distributed nearly £5 million in Jersey, directly benefitting the Island community across over 540 sport, culture and community project grants. It has overseen many of the island stars see their aspirations reach reality and many projects move from idea to design and implementation. The Foundation is passionate about preserving Jersey’s unique heritage and to this end has supported valuable projects such as those driven by Sociéte Jersiaise, National Trust for Jersey and Jersey Heritage.

Brighter Futures
Brighter Futures is a local charity supporting parents, families and young people in Jersey. We provide 1:1 keyworker support alongside a number of Free programmes and services to help support the parents and carers we meet. Brighter Futures were very fortunate to receive funding from the One Foundation in order for us to purchase new laptops used by our key workers and staff members.
Supporting 150 families at any one time, we focus on three key areas:
- Parent–Child Relationships programmes
- Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing programmes
- Second-Chance Learning programmes
Culture
National Trust Jersey
The Trust is enormously grateful for the continued support of the One Foundation, which has generously funded three high-quality visitor guides for our historic museum sites (Le Moulin de Quetivel and 16 New Street) and two new immersive visitor films. Through the support of the One Foundation, which also funded a site-specific theatre production for secondary school students, we have been able to educate future generations – inspiring them to value and appreciate Jersey’s historic buildings, which the Trust has been protecting since 1936.
Sport
Jersey Sport Association for the Disabled
Jersey Sport Association for the Disabled (JSAD) is a charitable organisation, formed with the purpose of providing support and encouragement to local Jersey residents with a disability who wish to take part in sport. It has the general ethos that sport should be available to all, regardless of age or ability, and be fun!
The One Foundation has proudly supported JSAD with a number of initiatives over the years, enabling the charity to realise the sporting aspirations of so many local Jersey athletes who dare to dream to take part in sport. This includes a wheelchair tennis player, a learning disabled football team, the Jersey Special Gymnastics Club and Swim Easy Jersey (Swimmers with Disabilities) to name a few.
